Stephen Rosecan

Attorney Stephen Rosecan worked as a public defender in Nashua and Manchester for over 12 years.  While with the New Hampshire Public Defender, he handled nearly two thousand criminal matters, including over 600 felonies and more than 1,200 misdemeanors. Attorney Rosecan has tried cases before both judges and juries, litigated numerous motions to suppress evidence, and advocated for clients at countless other contested hearings.

His criminal representation has involved a broad range of matters including homicide, sexual assault, first/second degree assault, burglary, robbery, drug charges, DUI, domestic violence, criminal threatening, criminal mischief, motor vehicle violations, and juvenile petitions. He believes in a thorough and detail-oriented approach to criminal defense – and he works to examine all aspects of a case.

Attorney Rosecan has an undergraduate degree (cum laude) from Duke University and a master’s degree from the University of Mississippi.  He graduated summa cum laude from the New England School of Law (now New England Law) in 2008, where he was awarded the Dean Arthur W. McLean Award for Academic Excellence.
